I would like to pay tribute to Junichi Nakahara, a pioneer in shojo (Girl’s) manga style, who laid the foundation for shojo manga and illustrations that continue to this day. My work is greatly influenced by such works that have been handed down.
I drew a woman dressed in striped and polka-dot clothes, which I often saw in Junichi Nakahara's illustrations.
Also, just as he evolved his style according to the trends and atmosphere of the times, I also put in the feeling of ale for women living in the present age.
