Akira Kusaka, illustrator/graphic designer, drew the visuals for Resort Hosihana in Chiang Mai, Thailand, adjacent to the BAN ROM SAI HIV orphanage.
The name ‘hoshihana’ suggests that it must have a beautiful starry sky. The pool, surrounded by lush greenery, reflects the night sky like a mirror, and I thought it might look as if the stars and moon were floating in the pool, so I drew this picture.

Resort Hosihana is located on a 20,000 m2 site adjacent to Baan Romsai, with 11 cottages, each different from the others, all donated by supporters. In fact, it was also the location for the film Pool.
